Comments: We are now in a age of global culture. It is important to preserve piece of rigional culture for future generations. I especially liked songs without any instrumental music. These types of Maithili songs are still sung for all important Hindu Sanskars -Birth to Vivah; for different seansons, for different phases of love life; for Iswar Vandana etc in southern Nepal and northern Bihar. You have done great job of preserving these songs.Mithilabasi of younger generation do not find these songs attractive as they are not accompanied by musical instruments. Probably in another hundred years researchers can find them on website like yours. My best wishes for all your team members.
